Allergic reaction to tan after 4 months?

Question by Joey H: Allergic reaction to tan after 4 months?
I have a friend who has been using body lotion with self tanning for 4 months. Recently, she broke out in a rash on and off for the past few weeks. Obviously, summer is now over, so she stopped using it a couple of weeks ago, but she still has the rash. My question is, can you still get an allergic reaction for the first time in 4 months of using the product?
Also, if it is possible, could anyone suggest how to get rid of
